Fluid Open Space
California Polytechnic University San Luis Obispo, 2017
FluidSpace is a bayside park uniting four key elements in the Morro Bay community: Harbor, Beach, Town[people], & a proposed Power Plant Nature Center. The existing conditions are constrained by a succession of linear boundaries, while the proposal weaves a tapestry of unique identities. To create a fluid public-use space, the masterplan explores integration with identity through a web of physical forms.
